Can't these be re-barreled to make them an 18" wheel which then could clear on an M5?

Had these on my first BMW, a 98 540i 6spd. Which was really just a trial run to see if I wanted to get an E39 M5. Horrbile to keep clean with BMW brake dust but love the way they look.

If I found a set in 18" and they do clear the calipers I'd like a set as spare wheels just to look at them on the car. (Free bump)
