Adding to that it has the 944 NACHTRAEGLICHER UMBAU DURCH ZS code which is also found on the confirmed 400 hp car. It was also a BMW M show car as well as a development vehicle.
This one is a true suspect to be something interesting. All data are protected.

in Palazzolo/Verona on Nov. 15th, 1993.
Engine-/gearbox numbers will not be communicated, however, if

interesting cars indeed, one of them is in = Orinoco-met. (exterior colour)
GD63908 was most likely a BMW demo and pre-production model year 19994 car

- special control/exhibition-/photo-car/development vehicle

GD64079, I do not have any information about whether this car is 400 or 408 hp, the descriptions of the S940-S944 options are already in the build spec file written in detail.

I specified the cars I suspected in detail in the e-mail content I sent to you.

GD64079 is not a 400 bhp car. I owned this car until 2019 and it dyno´d at 339bhp.

recently auctioned on BaT and subsequently moved from it’s previous owner in the U.K. to the US, to a new
owner and to join the considerable number of

4.0 cylinder blocks were mentioned here. Several cars with this abbreviation got into Russia. All parts (block, pistons, crankshaft) were measured, they met 3.8 standards.

Wrote through an electronic translator, translation heresy is possible.

if any one is interested in a 4.0 liter block I have one. It has a 4.0 stamped on it. It comes with a statement from bmw that these have been produced but were supposed to be discarded and not taken home...
I had contact with one of the former engine guys from this time. He told me that around 100 blocks and 200 heads were produced but they never managed to get the heat problem solved for a "normal" street car.
