How about a pic of the trans in the car how about that?

And I will also add this. If it actually is in the car it's not running properly?

Look I'm not going to tear my car apart to provide you with a picture. As I mentioned previously, I am working 9-6 M-F and didn't have the time to go and take pictures of the swap. The car is fully drivable and functional I actually drove it yesterday. I don't need to prove you with anything else.

You are right you don't have to prove anything to anybody. The only reason people are asking you for proof is because you made the claims in the first place, that's all.

Bucky it's a different animal completely. Putting power down to the group insanely. Shifts are amazing; the M5 reminds of a Huracan because of the fast shifts and NA V10 motor. If you were local I taken you out for a spin.

I would do this asap! What are we looking at for price wise if you don't mind. And besides the immaturity and hating; can you post or personally send me a good video? I'll pull the trigger on this and I have the funds. [emoji1360][emoji1360]

Gintani mentioned it would cost anywhere from 10 to $15K including the transmission, clutch, flywheel, custom driveshaft, coding. More information will be available once it's publicly available to the public. Outcome is amazing!
I'm still not done though, more crazy projects coming with Gintani!

Can you go this screen in INPA? If you have a DCT in an M5, it'll show an MSS65 and whatever the DCT module is called in the list (instead of the GDSMG3).

Experts on this board have commented that this is another diagnostic nightmare to be overcome.

I consider myself an expert in BMW electronic stuff. A DCT swap shouldn't cause trouble for the simple ident function unless you have both transmission computers hooked up at the same time.

I'm sorry, but I didn't resurrect this thread. Someone posted that a vid was up about this DCT and we went from there. We're not supposed to question or reply when people run a five month thread with very little to back it up and I should dial it down?
