Are you lowered that you scraped that much? If so how many inches? I have the lowtech lowering front springs I was going to put on to get the front down even with the rear. I’m afraid to scrape the lip though. For $1200 that would suck lol
Lowered on H&R springs, not sure of the exact drop as the previous owner installed them. I'd guess about 1.5", I can measure ground to fender if that would help.

Scraping the lip isn't a big deal, it's a very durable piece. Just don't ram it straight into anything.

About to re powder coat my 19s to match the color of my the wheels on my e28m5.

^Love it!

I really like how they turned out for my street wheels. Using the same guys in San Diego as I did before.

I'm still struggling with this
I think bmw nailed it with the style 166.

I haven't seen a single wheel that i like that fits the the lines on the car E60 as the OE wheels.
I felt the same way.

In the “early” days of e60 platform, the consensus of first mods were always 20” wheels, spacers, and “a drop.” I stayed at 19” to save a bunch of weight over OEM and 20s.

My only drawback to the 166 is the weight. BMW always nails it with the design of ///M wheels.

That said, I try to go lighter, without giving up any strength.

50th Anniversary 20" BBS LMs in all gold. At the time of purchase, they were 1 of 2 sets available in the US. I miss my M5.
