I have been talking with Joey off and on for the last week and it seems this is a good quality CoilOver system. There is a special price right now for both the premium and pro systems. If you have any questions let me know and ill pass them on to Joey since he doesnt have an account yet. I do NOT work for Yellow Speed Racing.

I just emailed Joey. I believe things got lost in translation, although he replied extremely quickly.

What I got from him is that the Premium spring rates are harder, that is the main difference. The Pro should be fine for daily driving duties.

I still have no information about whether the springs are linear or progressive. I also don't know if the shocks and valved for the spring rates; maybe they are since there seems to be fixed spring rates.

Tsk tsk...these things were not even engineered nor even tested on an E39 M5.

They are made in the same factories that XYZ, D2, Fortune Auto, K Sport, etc...Taiwanese companies...Chinese made...

Here is what I read about Yellow Speed...

"Yellow Speed just founded before Oct. in 2010, the person who in charge of Yellow Speed company used to work in D2 company, but he got fired due to theft. So far D2 has started to sue the company, as I notice, they pirate D2’s patent as well."

I'd rather stick with OEM.

Twiggy you getting married? That's not what you said when you backed out of our deal for 6 OEM wheels for your IForged...

American based. However if you have enough capital to invest you can head over to China and get MINIz guy Coilovers made at the same factory. You too could be famous!!!! Actually I like that name MINIz coilovers...hmmmmmmmmm

I could be wrong about Fortune Auto, but they look like all the others to me.

Things change. Life goes forward and things work out.
Good for you...

Those look nice and the price even nicer. No reason to pay huge dollars for coil overs just because its an M5. I installed BC coilovers and the ride is exceptional, no noises and the quality was great. These look similar and probably perform great.
Have you seen some of the spreadsheets that owners on this board made when it comes to maintenance? I am one of the first to dismantle myths (like BMAparts not selling OEM products). However suspension is something that skimping out is something I personally will not do.

In my most humble opinion BC is a step above the cheapo junk. They provide support and a warranty that they actually honor. For 1000 I personally would go ST, PSS, or BC. Even FK might be worth a shot in that pricepoint.

Looking nice is one thing...oh hey that fine blonde over there looks stunning...but guess what, she has HIV. I know that I am reaching at this point but I am only trying to get my point across. However, these will make a tired worn out suspension feel refreshed, so I guess they are better than having OEM struts that are blown.

I am willing to try certain things...I would put these Chinese copies on my E46 wagon just to tinker with them, but not on my M5. Actually scratch that, my wagon has H&R PCS coilovers, swaybars, and some other goodies...she has been tracked and I probably wouldn't want these for the track.

Good investigative info, wonder if the owner will respond to clear up the other side of the story
I hope so. But there is a lot more info out there and I only scratched the surface.
