for some reason i've never been able to get the front tires to wear evenly. the rear is set right where i want it, i don't have to touch it. the front is the issue. just put a set of mich ps as3's and i don't want to burn them up. right now the front camber is around -1.5 degrees and the toe is 0'02. the old tires were smoked but they were more worn on the inside and starting to show cords. i don't think the toe is the issue, thinking more the camber but idk. i want to move the camber in more positive(have gc plates) but as we know when you change camber it changes toe also. i figure with these i can keep making adjustments without having to put it on the rack 20 times.

i spoke to a guy who is pretty knowledgeable about this stuff and he suggested on a warm day take the car for a rip down the highway then pull off and take a infrared thermometer and go across the tire with it and see if there is a hot spot on the inside, outside etc.

car has been on the rack 10 times. when i first got it it had h&r springs in the front and stock rears with stock shocks. went to bilstein pss's and they were chewing the outside. had konis for a while but not long enough to get any good data. now im running the h&r springs in the fronts, bilsteins sports all around, and rear springs with a couple coils removed off the top. i ordered a set of the toe plates. think the first thing im going to do is set the camber back to stock then bring the toe back in. will take before measurements of course in case i need to go back/start over.

im not an expert when i comes to alignments. idk what thrust angle you're speaking of, i have the printout of the last time i had it on the rack, maybe its called something else.

anyway i received the toe plates, got here real fast, great shipper. took a little doing but i got the toe set. reason i wanted them is i wanted the move the camber back more positive and not have to keep putting it on the rack. anyway moved the camber plates back to stock which toed out the front wheels pretty good. using the plates i set the toe to 1/32in toe in. on a side note i took the car for a good ride the other day as finally the weather is back in the 80's. soon as i pulled in my driveway i grabbed the infrared thermometer and went across the front tires., there was about a 3 degree difference going from the inside to the outside. iirc the inside was exactly 100 degrees and moving to the outside edge it went down to 98. idk if it means anything as i checked the rears also and the temps were exactly the same and the rear tires are wearing fine.

on the printout i have "track differential angle" in the front and "geometric driving axis" in the rear. the td angle is -1*55' left and -1*57' right. idk if thats what you mean. target data is -1*43' +/-0*30'.

hey man im a tech and i do the alignments myself. idk how you can adjust that angle but its well within spec according to the specs listed on the printout. idk, could have been just the tires, im running ps as3's now so we'll see how they wear. the camber is set back to stock, idk what as i have to get a digital level but its should be withing spec and as i said the toe is toe'd in 1/32 of an inch in the front. rear tires wear perfect with the camber maxed out positive and 0*02' toe.

for the hell of it today i checked the rear toe using the plates. according to the measurement i have 1/8th inch toe in on the rear using the tape measures/plates. last time on the rack it was 0*02' left/right. as i said the rear tires are wearing perfect.
