Someone should try that out at the same time as these $120 headers.

 

It's like hotdog buns: you have to buy two to get enough gaskets.

 

With premium materials and firm installation, what could go wrong?

Dorman, who I trust, sells a tank for a few dollars more. These could be back door specials from the regular run.
Those headers are just single wall copies. They probably fit, but do they add any power?
We need an engineer to tell us how much exhaust gasses slow down as they cool.
BMW spent some effort to build double wall manifolds and pipe for a reason.

I am not a flat earther on headers. Hot Rod magazine have proven numerous times that max performance goes up with each increase in header/ pipe size. Usually up to 2 1/2" header/3"pipe for a performace big block. But there is a drop in low speed V/E or scavange in the torque range.

 

Personally I am interested to see how this Front Engine reservoir will keep my engine clean, prevent oil leakage, and reduce fuel consumption.
