I have some minor scratches that i would love to fix if possible.
Yesterday i parked the car in my garage as usual (on the back i have some gravel tyres ) my mother propably had forgoten a brash with an aluminium stick pointing toward my car that i didn't see and made 1 big scratch on the boot damitt .

Ofcourse thats minor to go paint the whole boot , do you guys know if there are any repair kits in silverstone something like what women use to paint their nails i've seen somewhere . Anything else any thoughts ?

they can probably be buffed out.

with the right guy buffing, if it doesn't remove the scratches, it will make it very unnoticeable, depending on the severity of the scratches.

Try a product called "Langka" first. www.langka.com

It will work fine (if you work at it) for Black, White, and Red cars ... doesn't work as well with metalics ... but, it will protect the car from rusting and, pretty much hide the scratch ... You will need some touch up paint, as well.

You can buy a 2-part touch-up paint kit from BMW in Silverstone. I've made some pretty unnoticeable chip/scratch repairs by:

o fill in scratch/chip with paint - allow to dry
o repeat the fill until new paint is proud of the surface
o use very fine wet/dry paper to flatten the new paint
o restore the shine using compund, then polish

When compounding, I use a cloth around an old credit card. Put a dab of compound on the flat surface and rub. Put pressure on via the back of the card, that way it spreads the load around, so you don't wear away the clearcoat locally.
