Ick, I didn't care for the carbon black on my e46. Too purpley! AND I'm a girl!

 

must have been the lighting in the showroom.

either way i thought it looked fantastic.

 

saw a Carbon Black 550i SP at the dealership, with the new body kit and wheels. looks pretty damn good!

I just happen to like the slightly different look than Sapphire, too bad my car wasn't available in it. It'd be nicer in a slightly darker grey or CB.

Slightly different? Sapphire has no blue in it at all.

 

Carbon black has more sparkle to it, thats all.

Jerez black is very close to carbon black, so it has that dark blue appearing in the sun. I know for sure as I am taking delivery of mine this Saturday.
