I have spent countless hours looking for a non-vmware solution for 64bit compatibility on windows 8 and windows 10.

I have found it, it's an all in one executable that installed Inpa 5.0.6, BMW Coding Tool, Ediabas, NCSExpert and other tools, with SP-Daten integrated

Verified connectivity and it's working on my e39 m5.
The ONLY thing that users may need to do is reconfigure their COM port to be COM1 after the install, but a Readme file pops up after the install with simple instructions.

I take no credit for composing the package, just sharing it as i know this has been a PITA for me, and finally i have success.

The first zip is the executable package. Install away!

The next is the fix to get BMW Coding Tool working, drop the file MSCOMCTL.OCX in the windows\system32 folder (and SySWOW64 if you're on 64bit Windows 10, then reboot)
Replace desktop shortcut for BMW Coding tool with a new shortcut from the source and it will work fine.

No worries but thanks. You have done tons already. A new seeder showed up withing a half hour of my post. So I will get it. This morning when I checked I had 14 days to go. As things are now I will have it by mid night. Thank you very much though.

Need a bit of Help

I downloaded and installed the easy tools today.

I am running Windows 7 enterprise 64 bit.

I received an error when installing the drivers as shown in the attached picture.

When tring to open INPA, NCS Expert, and WinKFP, I receive an error that states "The program cant start because api32.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem"

Can someone please help me understand how to rectify these problems? I am no computer genius by any means

Hello fellow beast owners. I'm hoping to buy a new laptop this weekend mainly to install all of the necessary software to troubleshoot and possibly program my e39 M5 and 528i. I can understand the basics of computers, but I'm not a coder by any means. I can rebuild the suspension of our cars, however So what's the bare minimum specs (operating system, RAM, etc) that you recommend I look for in a laptop? I'm in the Boston area and am looking to buy at Micro Center as they have a bunch of laptops for under $300.


Also, are all the files back up on the sites listed by Mari87? Thanks!!!

It's straight from my one drive, these files will be deleted from the cloud in a week and link will be inactive,
I no longer have my M5 so I personally no longer need this but realize that some of the original links are dead, please community members source them for others if you can
