I would like to see the Eibach springs as well.

 

I went with Eibach b/c I used them on my 645Ci and the ride was good. The ride in the M5 just as comfortable as OEM springs.

You can also look at all AC Schnitzer brochures or online for the look as they use Eibach springs as a general rule. They advertise a similair drop of 1.2 up front and .6 in the back (HR is 1.2 and .75), HR is always lower then Eibach from my past experience though.

 

Reason you probably can't find many/any pics with people with Eibach springs is that they are reportedly rebadged H&R springs...as in they simply change the name and maybe color, and charge you a couple hundred more for the exact same product. Save your money and just get the H&R springs.

I've purchased probably around 6 sets of eibachs and 3 sets of H&Rs for various cars (in many cases the same model for each), and they are absolutely different springs.

 

I have H&R springs and I think the drop is perfectomundo. I also have wheel spacers which is a must on oem wheels (12mm front, 10mm rear) Absolutely no rubbing and cannot tell any loss in ride quality.

 

Nice look... I already have the H&R (not installed yet), but not the spacers. Spacers simply to widen the stance I presume:dunno: I like!!!

 

Can you post another pic or your car from the Side? Rear etc.? Looks really good. It's the way it should come off the production line! I don't understand why the 550's and 530's sit perfect and the M5 is ready to go Off-Roading. :dunno:

When installing those after market springs or coil over, do the EDC working normally or will not work at all? I'm planning to install Eibach but dont want to mess up with the electronic stuff in the car =p

 

Heres some help with Eibach springs... I bought springs from these people twice before, great company, and you get name brand springs for much less than some retailers:

Also, the EDC should only affect the shocks, not the springs.

Hey Guys,

I have a total Newbie question; What are the cons of wheel spacers? After reviewing the pic, it sure makes the M lok so much meaner.

 

Could put excessive strain on the suspension compenents and hub, since you're moving the cantilever point further out than is originally designed. However, from as small as ~10-15mm spacers, I highly doubt anybody will ever end up with a problem on this car.
