Once you get your beast back hit me up, i'd love to go for a ride and see what DCT feels like with the S85. I am actually dropping off my car at Gintani this friday for some preventive maintenance and new clutch and flywheel :)

Got a call from Gintani. They said it should be complete by the end of next week. After I will post my SMG pump and transmission up for sale on the board.

Maybe hold off on the clutch and flywheel, go for the DCT instead.
 
In a way I actually like the SMG more after driving the newer M5 and M6 the DCT in a way is too smooth for my liking :) I like the feel of the SMG slamming you back through the gears :)

I like the feel of the slamming too but that delay in shifting is making me go slower than that DCT.
 
I dont know why when i drive my smg m mode and foot on throttle not removed the shifting is quick and fast and the car doesn t know how to stop, don t understand what delay in shifting mean cause i dont feel there s a delay at all...

The DCT is just something else. I love how it is on the E9XX M3 and Nissan GTR. Porsche's PDK transmission that is found on a GT3 is double clutch as well and that is why it beats most supercars by just its amazing transmission. There was a video of a Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera drag racing a Porsche 911 GT3 (both stock) and the Porsche took the Lamborghini because of its outstanding transmission. Now that is all changed with the new Lamborghini Huracan's DCT transmission. It's the first Lamborghini to run on a DCT transmission and it is truly amazing. SMG feels great no doubt, but honestly speaking the shifts aren't that instant (even with Euro SMG).

DCT is great but this ^

M mode on & throttle response aggressive via pedal box - the shifts are quick - granted not as fast as DCT but they're damn sure fast!

Am i reading the shift speeds correctly?

SMG III - 65ms and M-DCT in E92 80ms
SMG III - S6 no lift shifts are actually faster than DCT in E92 M3? Huh? :eek

If so that would explain why our transmission feels like it is about to fall out S6 Full throttle upshifts
I am torn.. I want to go faster but don't want to give up the savagery in the SMG :devil.. i actually enjoy it. I sometimes do full throttle upshifts to scare passengers. Full throttle upshifts that vibrate the chassis is bonkers but then there is a price to pay for all that fun when you have to pay for clutch.
