OEM's were stripped, entire wheel wheel was powder coated gloss black, the faces were then machined down to remove powder coat, a clear was applied as a final step. Replaced the old center caps with the new style mentioned here on this board. After that it was time for some new rubber - went with Continental DW. Here is a tighter shot of the wheel -
Where did you have the work done? Looks like they did a very nice job. What did something like that cost?

Nice Rig. I live in Humble and have a 2008. I like the Dinan exhaust. have been contemplating it as I wanted to see what the pipes looked like. I just bought COR Precise wheels..waiting for delivery. Hopefully we pass each other on the 610?
Cheers.

Whats the details on the set you ordered? Color combo, concavity, lip size, offset, etc.

I've been looking for a set of aggressive concave mesh wheels myself. Have you considered BC Forged at all?

I just received the wheels today! They look awesome. I have to admit, the concave on the rears is intense and should really make the wheel look aggressive. Getting them installed Friday. Pictures to follow.

Can't wait for pics....this is the exact set of wheels I want. Maximum/aggressive concave mesh. beautiful wheels.

How is the quality and finish?

What did they run you again if you don't mind me asking. I'd want to get 20" in a flush offset
though.

Are the fronts concave at all? I'd like to get the fronts slightly concave and the rear max concave.

Appointment set for tomorrow. ....
Sounds awesome! Are you worrying about the chrome at all though...pitting, rust, harder to repair etc.? Ever since I had chrome wheels years ago I swore never to do chrome again. All wheels with a lip I've had since have been either brushed or polished aluminum.

Allumnuim wont pit and if clear coated won't oxidize (and hope the clear was done well), and if you curb one they are easily fixed with no sign it was ever repaired.

^^^^so what is the brand on these ones? These are more concave then the OEM and the Avant Garde models?

I've been considering getting these. I think the grey in the windows would pull out the Space Grey paint.

Is the gunmetal color actually Space Grey...or lighter/darker?

Here is my 2008 M5 with RAC wheels (no spacers, yea!) with 275/30 front and 305/20 rear tires. I also had Eibach springs installed. I really love this set up and the ride is not bad considering I went from stock to larger wheels and very low profile tires. Based on board recommendations, I also added the Corsa exhaust which is much 'throatier' than the stock exhaust!

Mmmmmm space grey with Corsa.....winning combo

deets on the rear diffuser...it looks like a different model that what's avail today. Is it connected the the rear bumper flairs or a separate piece?

That is a serious wing.

That kinda looks.... uh. Awesome. Does anybody know what kind of rims these are?
OG Volk TE37
Front 19x9.5 ET22 with 20mm spacers
Rear 19x10.5 ET22

Nope, 19"s, I'm in San Jose if you ever want to have a look. I'm still waiting to install some lowering springs but other maintenance issues keep coming up.
Ya'll are confusing everyone. The original question is regarding the blue car with those awesome looking wheels (which are atleast 20's)....

I want the deets on those wheels too

I know for a 100% that the car in question is from marietta ga because you can still see the "MPRESIVE" license plate. I still have the previous owners # from when we texted earlier this year. I can text him back to confirm if there is doubt.

still off topic lol....we don't care about the location....just the details on the blue M5 wheels (NOT the black volks on the black M5 on the previous page)
