Hi everyone, so im looking to buy a F90 and want to know if there truly is a big difference between a 19 model and a 20 model. I know of the cockpit gauges changing but haven't seen anyone talk about anything else. I know 21 received a facelift but I do like the pre-facelift a bit more which is why I am looking at these two years. Any further information will help thank you!

The main difference between the 2019 and 2020 F90 models is the exterior styling. The 2020 F90 has a revised front end with a more aggressive grille and headlights. Additionally, the interior has been updated with a larger infotainment screen and the latest BMW iDrive system. Other minor differences between the two model years include new wheel designs and the addition of the M Performance Package as an option.

You are right, before i bought mine (2019 M5 69 plate) i looked around and found there were some like this. Models that looked like the 2019 but had 2021 internal features, although its only the speedometer and Idrive thats different. The screen is the same size as the 2019 and looking at the spec's i think the car itself is the same. link to one of the ones you are asking about...

I personally agree and prefer the look of the 2019

I have the 2019 M5Comp. The only thing I don't like is that it does not have remote start and it cannot be added, other than aftermarket add-ons which I have been warned against. On the 2020 model, it might have the ability, depending on how it was ordered originally.
