Hi,

Does anyone know a good Indy shop or mechanic that can work on my e60 m5 with decent prices and excellent work? I'm in San Jose California. Thank you.

I don't have a recommendation, but I used to go to German Motor Specialist in Mountain View (originally in Sunnyvale), but after my last experience, I may go elsewhere.
I had them work on the front end, since it began to shudder.
It still has a shudder and the rep told me the rotors need work.
His attitude was more of a "you told us to change the thrust arm bushings and that's all we did".
Before, they would have told me the rotors might need work when I mentioned the shudder.

They replaced the sun roof panel, since the rep claimed to have found the part, but pretty sure it's not Alcantara.
Still have to come in and talk to them (repairs were right before Christmas) about it and give them the receipt for the re-tinting.

They also had to remove the glass panel of the moon roof, but it got scratched up.
Good thing I had installed tinting on it, since only the tinting was damaged.
Same rep tried to claim they just set it on something soft, but I'm pretty sure that was not the truth.

I initially had a good experiences when I first went to them for large projects, but now I'm looking for a new shop.
