Looking for a good Indy or professional Palm Beach County

For years I have been doing my own maintenance and repairs on all of my cars and home. I have come to a point in my life where I have no time and dont feel like it anymore. Although I enjoy working on cars, I would rather bring my car to a professional, have them run through it, and tell me what I need to fix it. I am in Palm Beach County if that helps..

Currently I have a steering box leak and I think the steering is way too tight. The car sits a lot (I know not good) but it is garaged and has been well maintained. Today I took the car out and now have a bad vibration when braking above 40mph. I just dont have time to look into it even though It might be something stupid like rotors.

Any input would be great. The car is an 2002 with 92k on it.

Thanks

Tom

Did you ever find a good shop? Possibly sending my e60 to family in Florida while I'm deployed.

I have heard good things about Redline in Pompano. I use a small shop for oil changes in delray, guy knows German cars very well.

So I took the car to Foreign Auto repair specialist off of Belvedere in West Palm a few months ago. He went through the entire car and gave me an estimate for around $7,000. I knew the car needed some work but i wasn't prepared for that. I am not saying they were trying to rip me off or anything. Labor is a lot on this car and I get it so this post is nothing against them. I let him fix the steering wheel issue which was a sensor apparently and it cost around $650 with him going through the car. He seemed very knowledgeable and the shop was nice. I dont remember his name, Justin maybe.

I did however take the 4 page sheet of things wrong and fixed most of it myself (even though I didnt want to). I had help and did it in my garage. I still have more to do however she drives and runs great.

MotorHaus in West Palm Beach. They are the best and I consult them regularly with questions about my car at no additional charge. Cheap relative to dealer but not on an absolute basis. They warranty all their work and I’ve never had a single issue. First class operation.
