Wish I could be there. I'm at the DPRC waiting for a class to start. Finally, convinced my wife to get her CCW. Should be a fun, though long day.

You mean those haughty, exclusive non-M5 E39 meets?

I wonder how many of our original meeting group still has an M5? Tom's car is gone with its heart beating in a E39 drift car. Alex sold his car. Charles and Phil still have theirs afaik. Rich still has his car as I think I saw him as I was leaving C&C back in March. Who else was there? Can't believe that's coming up on 5 years ago, and it was ~80 degrees cooler that day than right now too; that part I do remember well.

Current stable:

2019 M2 Competition 6MT LBB, slicktop
2011.5 M3 sedan 6MT Silverstone, slicktop: Dinan front swaybar, Eibach rear swaybar, pins-out-max-camber-up-front, Dinan exhaust, Michelin PS4S, Apex EC-7 9.5/10.5x19
2007 328i wagon Silver/gray: Eibach 28mm front swaybar, E93 M3 rear swaybar, 219M M3 wheels, Michelin PSAS3+
1975 CanAm 125MX2: Stock, original owner

I was there. Can't remember which one was mine - I think I was all the way on the end as it's the only LMB with a black out grille. Still have it, though I haven't been to any C&C lately or spent much time on the board. 133k on it. Know of a friend who just bought one, so there is at least one more in the area.

Yep, still have my M5, and was at C&C Saturday. The only other M5 I saw was a black one, but i was leaving at the time.

I've spent about half my time these last 5 years in the Phoenix area, caring for aging parents, and had a chance to go several times to their C&C, which they have been holding every Saturday night for about 23 years! They get a lot of participation, whether it's 110 degrees or 40 degrees: always interesting and fun.

On a not-so-related note, this is a picture of my brother's new toys: i8 and M6 Grand Coupe!

I had planned to go this past Saturday and forgot about it. We should plan one of these upcoming C&C events to have an M5 gathering again when everyone can make it.

I will try to make the next C&C. But should I bring my fastest car or my M5?
