Need a quick recommendation - reputable PPI shop in Nashville

Sorry to post here but i need this quick and the regional forums are somewhat dead...

Any suggestions? I've seen EuroFix and BimmersUSA, but I'd love a recommendation from a board member.

Thanks all,

Joe

Well try this...

Go to Community on the top of the forum, then Members List.... on the far right side you will see a button that says "Search Members"..click on this, a menu pull down will display "Advanced Search" Click

Now on the advanced search page go to "Location"...enter "Nashville".. search. On the results page, click on the "last visit" column to sort by visit date. If you click again it should list them most recent members at the top.

This is an excellent list of people who live in nashville who have interacted on the board...PM will be your friend.

Check these guys out. I went there for all my work when I use to live in Nashville and now that I live in Knoxville, I still take it there for all work that allows me to make it there(suspension etc) Ask for John.

Treehouse is pretty good. I've heard good things about Eurofix as well. I live in Nashville, what M5 are you looking at here?

A little far from Nashville, but Bell Buckle Motor Works is top notch.

Thanks guys. I've sent some PMs as well.

Ard, what about former Nasvhillian's, eh? You want me ignoring them? That'd be prejudiced!

Seriously though, I didn't know about that members list - thanks for the heads up.

Just as an update to this:

I called eurofix and while nice, they quoted me $76 for the PPI and then told me they'd "tell me what's wrong with the car". Not re-assuring.

I call up treehouse racing (also known as BimmersUSA) and they quote me ~$109 for the PPI, that they'll tell me about every major system and an overall condition report, and the guy is telling me this is in the middle of changing a steering rack on an e46. He showed good knowledge of M cars, so I decided to go with them

I've never heard of a PPI below $200 before. But treehouse/bimmersusa is a well known grassroots organization and they described their PPI as taking ~2 hours. So why n ot?

Geography is everything. I paid $300 for rear pads alone, and the same shop had the balls to tell me rear pads were low after 20000 miles. They became mute after I mentioned they "replaced" them just a year earlier! This was a local shop, no dig to any M specialists out there, I still drop by for state inspection and tire rotation, the right shop makes all the difference.
