Need Euro SMG programming in Portland

Hi all,

I have a 2006 E60 and I only recently learned about the ability to change to Euro SMG programming. I don't care about the higher launch control, but I am really interested in smoother/faster shifting at low/normal speeds.

I reached out to a couple of local shops but no luck. Any one knows who/where this can be done in the Portland area?

Thanks in advance!

Sorry, I don't know who can do Euro SMG programming up there but I do have it. I'm moving to the Portland area next month with my family (mid July) and looking forward to meeting other BMW and ///M owners. I've researched these guys as I plan to use them when I move up there. Maybe try them. Audi, BMW, Lamborghini, Mercedes / Mercedes-Benz, MINI - Cooper, Porsche, VW / Volkswagen Auto / Automotive Service, Repair, Maintenance, Performance, and Racing Specialist Facility / Shop Portland Oregon - Matrix Integrated

You will like Portland a lot, it's a nice town! And the summer is the great here..

Matrix are pretty good, a little pricy though (they wanted more than the dealer for spark plugs!). I checked with them and they don't do it.

By the way, how do u like the Euro SMG? Is there a big difference in normal driving?

I may check with a company that does the update remotely if I can't find any one to do it here..

I too have the SMG Euro but do not know what is was like prior. I am in Portland and trust Matrix. You either want the slow dealer or the energetic custom shop. Was just there yesterday! They are a licensed Dinan installer too. Shoot me a message when you guys feel like going for a fun drive. I know the spots.

Hey Todd. I'm subscribed here too. Had fully modded E60 for 6 years with all the goodies but girl decided to crash into me in June in PDX and totaled it. Been in a F10 M5 since June and the mods have begun. Install going on at Bavarian Autoworks in Vancouver on Wed morning if anyone wants to stop by ☺☺☺
