Cool Portland Cars and Coffee aka PDX C&C

I just wanted to make sure everyone was aware of the original Portland cars and coffee gathering. It happens every Saturday rain or shine from 8 am to 11 am.

Yes, there is another one that started a little while ago over by the airport that exists because some people don't want to drive to Tigard. Weird that someone wouldn't want to drive their cars but whatever.

Anyways, last weekend there were three E34 M5s, an E30 M3, and of course Bob's (rmbit) M Coupe, among other BMWs. Ton of Audis, Porsches, quite a few GT-Rs, Ferraris, etc. Very diverse crowd.

We meet behind Starbucks Coffee (that way it's easy to get your fix ) in Tigard.
15350 SW Sequoia Parkway
Tigard, OR

Get off at Carmen Drive on I-5 West.

Many of you probably know Matrix Integrated, they show up quite often. As does 503 Motoring.

For those of you who are on Facebook, we have a group you can join here. We talk cars all week as a group.

Supposed to be an awesome 75 and sunny tomorrow. I'll be there in my '91 E34 M5. Hope to see you guys there. Would love to increase the BMW presence.

Bring your kids, bring your friends, bring anyone who wants to hang out and talk/look at cars. It's a good time.

Thanks.

Can't do this Sat, but will keep this in mind.

How many cars show up on a typical Saturday?

During the summer months on a nice weekend when there aren't other events going on (Like a PCCA or BCCA event), 100 cars, on and off as people come and go throughout the morning. On a crappy, rainy morning in the middle of the winter, 15 cars?

Hey fellas I know this is a old thread. I'm currently in SoCal and wifey and I plus our little one may be considering moving to Portland in the future. I've never been and wanted to get a feel of the city, things to do, desirable places to live, places to avoid, schools and stuff for little kids (our boy is 2 now) of course sick roads to drive (I am spoiled with the insane mountain twisties we have here in SoCal , local car scene, high end shops for maintenance and mods on the beast (found one online that looks pretty good Audi, BMW, Lamborghini, Mercedes / Mercedes-Benz, MINI - Cooper, Porsche, VW / Volkswagen Auto / Automotive Service, Repair, Maintenance, Performance, and Racing Specialist Facility / Shop Portland Oregon - Matrix Integrated). I've read that Portland is the beer capital of the world. I'd greatly appreciate any info that any of you could share. We might take a family trip up this summer to scope it out to get a feel of things. We'll likely fly although I wish I could take the beast up there.

Yes, it's called DEQ - not all area's of Oregon require testing.

State of Oregon: Department of Environmental Quality

If your vehicle can pass California tests it will not have an issue in Oregon.
