M Gruppe East Coast Weekend + BMW VPC Tour

The M Gruppe is going to have an epic weekend in August that will start on Friday and end on Sunday, 3 days of fun with fellow ///M enthusiasts! One of the activities is a private tour of the BMW Vehicle Processing Center in NJ. This is the first port of entry of BMW, Rolls Royce and Mini cars arriving from Europe. That tour will also include a very special BMW guest appearance. The VPC is off-limits to public access so this is a huge honor.

The weekend itinerary is as follows:

Friday 8/10: We will meet up for dinner at a NYC restaurant to eat, drink and make a couple of special announcements. Those who need to do so can stay at a hotel near the VPC where we have arranged a booking

Saturday 8/11
  • Morning we will meet at the VPC, have our tour and hang out with some of the BMW brass!
  • Noon we will make a B-line to Lime Rock Park (it will be a pretty drive), where we will have some more guest stars to chat with us, and then we will take a brisk parade lap around the track
  • Evening we will hang out for dinner, drinks and having a good time hanging out
  • Night members who decide to stay at Lime Rock should book a hotel in one of the hotels in that area

Sunday 8/12: The weekend will end with a BBQ at Hawthorne Cottage in Lakeville, CT ($50/person includes all food, beverages, supplies)

Fine Details

Cost: The M Gruppe does NOT charge its members fees to be a member nor money to participate in any of its events. With that, hotels and dinners do cost money and you are responsible for your own costs. The BBQ will cost $50/person and will include food, beverages, supplies etc.

Location: NYC, NJ VPC, Lime Rock Park, Lime Rock area CT

Date: 8/10-12/2018

Can I Bring Guests?: Yes, you can bring 1 guest. Children must be age 12+

Step 2: After you get your confirmation, please email to register for the event. NOTE: Space is limited and it's first come first serve. Once spaces are filled they will put people on a wait list (first come first serve)

The M Gruppe is a BMW M-only owners physical club with members in 40 US states and several countries. (http://www.mgruppe.org). They do C&Cs, happy hours, drive and track events, including access to BMW Nürburgring training. The M Gruppe has BMW NA and local dealership support and incentives that include discounts on new cars, service, maintenance, performance upgrades, repairs, LifeStyle items etc.

There is no cost to become a member of the Gruppe. We believe you pay for your membership when you buy your ///M. Our passion for these cars is what keeps us as a tight and selective enthusiast community.

Q: Do you charge a membership fee?
A: No. It's free to be a member, but M-ownership is required.

Q: Do events cost money?
A: If the facilities charges, then yes. The M Gruppe does NOT charge money from members. For example: If we are at a track event, then the track event charges money and each attendee pays for him/herself. If we go to dinner, then you pay for your food, drinks.

A: Absolutely. The specific vendors are listed on our website and available to all Gruppers.
