Awesome that we have some interest. I was just browsing around for potential routes and found this site discussion:
Great roads in NY to enjoy driving your Ferrari | Ferrari Chat

Perhaps to start with something simple, I like the route from Kensico lake, 22N then 35 to Ridgefield, grab some fancy hot dogs, and then take 35 to Rt 7, and then take 7 back down. I've created a google map (link below, I don't know how to make a shorter link). Let me know if anyone is up for this route? I am not available this weekend, but perhaps next Sunday (Oct 1st) or the following weekend would work for me.

Also, as a starting point for this route I was thinking that the North White Plains library may be a good place. On google maps looks like they have a nice parking lot. I doubt they would care if a few guys meet up in their parking lot for half hour on Saturday or Sunday morning. They open at 10am on Saturday and noon on Sunday, and we will be gone by then anyhow. Just an idea.

I've owned an e39 528i a while back. I'm used to the interior and body work to look for. But for e39 m5 I wanted to see how a well kept one should ride and feel before I purchased it. A Ppi won't capture the nuance of the car.
