I booked my room at the standard rate for now. I called Barry and he is booking his asap. I think if he does not drive all the way he will fly in like last year.

I called Hilton Polaris and they tell me the group rate is all gone. Barry scored himself a king room for $184/night by going through a discount site. That's a little less than I paid for my room direct through the Hilton web site. No amount of Irish charm could get me a better rate or a better room at the same rate. I haven't given up yet though

Looks like i'll be doing more work to get a room. My cousins owns hotels so I know how things works. Hopefully I can talk to the front desk to score a room for the event. And then eventually using the rewards to lower the cost for 3 nights.

Getting excited. Lots of work to do on beast! Depending on what happens over the next 5 months, my rough estimate is that I will be darn close to rolling over 200k by TimmayFest. I plan to put her on the dyno and see what a (almost) stock high mileage beast puts out for power! Should be interesting.

I came to TF2011 but couldn't make it the last two years. Can't wait to see how much bigger it got and get a chance to meet more of you guys!

200k miles! I am focusing on making sure everything is good by the time the day arrives for a caravan to TF!
