Peter, thinking outside the box a bit, I came up with this. Rent a whole "pet friendly" house by the night. This one is 20 minutes from my place.

Mount Airy, Maryland vacation rental by owner: 4 bedroom House rental that sleeps 10. Above All Else... Horse-Friendly Vacation Home

Unfortunately there just aren't many rentals of this type nearby as it's not exactly a vacation destination. Baltimore City has many properties to pick from and isn't that inconvenient if you're close to I-95. The wife and I have rented this way all over the country several times with excellent results. Just a thought....

2003 Carbon Black on Caramel
ESS SC
Aquamist w/ Custom Howerton Tank
Supersprint Headers - X-pipe - Eisenmann Race
Dinan Wheels
Stoptech
3.45 Dinan Differential
CNS 10.5" clutch
Many more cool mods courtesy of Steve!

Thanks, Adam. The Sheraton Town Center in Columbia is pet-friendly, so we probably will wind up there. I will have to rely on one of you guys for transportation to and fro the hotel on many an occasion, however! How far is that from your garage?

Awesome! The Sheraton is in between my place and the 3 Hiltons. If everyone stays at one of the Hiltons, you can conveniently catch a ride over or I can pick you up if you want to get an early start. It sure would be nice if everyone else stayed there too, um, Chris... Who's got Sheraton points?

If we do end up bringing the Beasts, you are welcome to use my car for the weekend Peter, and I will catch a ride with Chris. We are debating between everyone riding in my SUV for an economical trip or the Beasts for a pleasurable trip. It also depends on what Brian wants to do, or anyone else that decides to join us from this area......

Peter/all

Ive done some digging today and this Hilton property (Peter) IS pet friendly AND they have a king available for the 18th thru the 24th. I figured Peter, you would want a King since your bride will be with you.

Their rate is $109 per night and a $50 charge per stay for the pet. That $109 rate is either for a double/double or king.

They do have several rooms available. They would do a group rate if there were at least 10 rooms booked. I couldnt commit to the 10 so if you want contact the hotel directly and ask for reservations. Lets keep a list of people that book there, that way if there does end up being 10 or more we can get a better rate.

Here is the link:

Hilton Columbia - Accommodations & Amenities

Unfortunately Peter, I'm not sure of the pooch-friendliness of these hotels. We'll need to dig deeper by way of phone calls. If we can pass off the furry beast as a "service animal", you can stay anywhere you want according to the ADA.
The Hampton Inn isnt pet friendly, Homewood Suites IS pet friendly BUT has very limited room availability to book that weekend. They only have 1 king and 1 double/double. They have a few queens (no thanks, no homo!) Not to mention they are at least $40 if not $50-60 more per night depending on the room booked.

The last one the, Hilton Columbia is the one I mentioned above and IS pet friendly AND has several rooms to book. (read: several double/doubles and kings)

I called each one.

I hope this helps.

I am soooooo tempted to fly there from Dubai for this historical build. I hope everything runs smooth and that beast (waiting for an official name) becomes the fastest E39 M5 on this planet .
Good luck Peter and please make sure you document every step with photos and videos.
