Thank you for the appreciation in your post. While it was a great turnout I was a little taken back by the mass exodus and ultimately realizing that there were other plans. It was an undermining thing to do by Matt(DD). An annual barbeque in March????, set up after the buzz about the meet at my place. It was quite apparent to many members but you guys got caught up in it. I am sure the drive was awesome, even thou C's career as a cinematologist will be short lived. I just tried to give you guys a place to meet up, have a bite, take some great pictures and that is all. It just ended inappropriately.
Maybe I should have asked you guys what you expected. I carefully choose between many car forums/clubs who I extend my courtesy to and sometimes I make a wrong decision. I appreciate the short time that we were able to meet and the turnout exceeded my expectations. The cars were incredible and some of the people were incredible too. Thank you to them!

I was just called about this post by a customer and all I have to say is UNBELIEVABLE! First of all, who said it was our "annual BBQ"? And the fact that you think that I run my business according to your seminar schedule is simply ridiculous. We have done these "Ping Pong" customer days since over a year ago. Our event was planned in mid February and invitations went out in batches since then. Out of the 1,987 customers in our data base, we invited only 80 of them - the ones who are the most loyal and who truly have our best interests at heart. Out of those 80, 60 RSVP'd and about 90 showed up. This was a closed meet which not designed to solicit business (unlike yours), but rather a chance for us to spend quality time with the people responsible for our success over the last 14 years in a social setting. From this board, I believe only 3 people were invited. If they told others at your place, it was not per us.

Even though I am a paying sponsor of this board, I never promoted my event anywhere on this or any other open forum. If I was trying to undermine your event, don't you think I would? I wish you would have gotten your facts straight before pointing fingers on a public forum. If you had a issue with me or our event, you could have called or PM'd me. That would have been the classy thing to do.

Matt
