Update as of 4/11/22 - Up to 95 M5's parted out. Please message me with your needs.
As some of you already know, I part out E39 M5's on a constant and nearly full time basis these days. As of today I've owned 16 E39 M5's, 13 of which were/are parts cars. I generally have 3-4 complete cars on hand at any given time. I'll keep updating this thread as cars are added.
Many of the popular parts get claimed quickly but I have a huge inventory of just about anything else bolted to an M5.
I try to respond to requests quickly but I get very busy and only have one full time helper. Sometimes I just can't keep up. Don't take it personally if I take a day or two. I do generally ship same or next day with payment. Paypal, Venmo, Zelle and others accepted. If I don't have the part or it's not available, try me back another time. I won't offer it to you if it's on a car buried behind other cars.
I do try to confirm that a part is functional before selling it. However, used parts sometimes don't work exactly as we hope. If you have a problem with something I sell you, I'll offer you a refund or replacement (if I have it).
Huge and heavy parts will only be offered for local pick up. I've learned some hard lessons about shipping big, bulky stuff and I'm not going there again. Packaging large parts and shipping them is time consuming and costly. I have bills to pay and I'm not a glutton for punishment. Greyhound is not an option for me. If you have to have it, pull a favor from a local friend as I'm happy to assist with that. I'm also will to road trip a fair distance to meet the right buyer. If you want a whole interior, I have a truck and will travel.
Hello, good evening, my name is Roberto, I'm looking for two solenoids in good condition for my M5 E39, do you have something, and if you have it, how much would it cost? Thank you.

I have 3 sets of the 01-03 facelift lights but no pre-facelift lights. Retrofitting the newer lights is not difficult and has been well documented. You will need the mounting brackets and will need to splice in 2 sets of plugs for the corner bulb and angel eye. Easy stuff and there is lot of info available to guide you. I can sell you all these parts if you end up wanting to install them.
I am interested in the parts needed to retro fit and install. I did a brief search on the topic and came up empty handed so any links would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Black, I assume? Most of them are a disaster, but I actually have a few with intact plastic. I'm located on the east coast, so shipping cost is a factor. My best one would run $225 shipped to Ca.
None that are 100% intact. Shipping rear bumpers is not easy. Due to size, they must go by way of freight and that is crazy expensive. I could ship you an engine for less. You'll want to stay local for this!
Hi Adam, I'm looking for a good shape battery cover (with the M logo imprinted), a front driver's door lock indicator rod that sticks in and out of the top of door to show locked/unlocked status (in chrome top for the luxury interior) and a door lock latch.
The door lock latch itself can be non-operational. A little nub on it that holds and operates that chrome door lock indicator rod broke and we are going to try to cannibalize another latch for that one piece.
How much would each of the items run? I'm in Seattle. Thanks.
M5 battery cover with good flap - $20
Operational lock assembly with actuator and rod $30. $25 w/o actuator. Sorry, no broken ones to offer.
Shipping for one or both is $15.
I'm looking for a couple of items when you have a moment.
- Set of door sills
- Center console trim- I'm hoping for a matched set of the bruyere club wood and the blackplastic piece they fuse to it underneath (including the little rolling door). My wood trim is fine, but I think the drilled holes are in slightly different places on each plastic piece underneath, so my current ones don't line up.
- Any chance you have caramel heritage front seat covers in really good shape? If so, how difficult is it to replace these?
I'm in Nashville.
I have many sills and can put together an OK set. Good driver's trims are less common and I only have one with good rubber and some scuffs on the insert. The other 3 sills are more plentiful. My best set of 4 is $120 + shipping.
Looks like all of my console carriers have issues. Many do. Same deal with sliding door cubbies. All broken.
Caramel seats in any condition are rare. I just had 2 cars come in with it. After refreshing the seats, both sets sold instantly with a line of others buyers circling like vultures. If yours isn't shredded, you may want to consider repairing them with a company like Fiber New.

Good Evening! New E39 M5 owner on the board...
I need the plastic undertray that goes behind the front air dam and reaches up into the front wheel wells on both sides. Not worried about curb scuffs, just so long as it isn’t broken.
I’m just south of Atlanta - 30269 for shipping.
Also interested in a steering wheel and black shifter knob in goof condition.
just so you know the headlight adjustment switch part number is 61318360460 (not savvy with hosting images) it goes into the space left of the fog switch, I found quite a few on ebay.uk
I was wondering if I could be placed on the waiting list for a full folding mirror upgrade on my 540i, Black II mirrors, drivers switch panel, and 2 mirror modules?
if so I would like 3 buttons for the climate control as well, Auto, Red arrow, and Max
Greetings Clemster,
I've always had great success with your parts business; this time out I'm probably in need of a LOT of salvageable stuff ...had a 5-10 mph front end collision above the bumper, hood, maybe both fenders, radiator all gone. Car is drivable, but with the front end crushed not very far. Unless my insurance company totals the car (and even if they do and I can buy it myself from them) I basically need the front end of a carbon black e39 M5. Last time we talked you had a c black car in stock to part out? If that's still the case my bodyshop guy says he'll use whatever I can find to piece the car back together. At this point my question is whether you still have a semi intact carbon black car ready to strip off the front end. I'd be picking up myself from you if push comes to shove.
Ah, that's a bummer. I do have a few CB M5's here but none of the hoods or bumpers are with me any longer. I only have a passenger fender and it's too big to ship and at $50, not valuable enough to drive here for. Same deal on the radiator. New ones are about $170. The core support isn't specific to the M5, so finding one locally might be easy and cheap. Let me know if there's any other small stuff I can help with.

I currently have no non-folding rear sport. They are fairly uncommon and quite popular.
Looks like i have 3-4 sets of black luxury full leather door panels. Depending on condition, $300-500 for all 4. Shipping is available, but as you can imagine, not cheap.
I would definitely prefer black, I'm not in a rush if you think there might be some available in the coming future, if not and it's a straight forward part to paint I guess I'll take a different color.
Thanks
There will always be more, but I can't say when. I do have one jet black passenger housing that internals could be swapped over to fairly easily. But don't have the driver's in JB. Most people end up paint when they can't get their color, but a correct set would save time and $$. There's nothing in the pipeline right now, but things change quickly here. Feel free to check back.
I know you stated a couple posts ago you don't have any bumpers. My rear bumper has a 2-3" crack just below the corner trim. I'm looking for a rear bumper in good condition (no PDC & carbon black preferred). Paint doesn't have to be perfect. I'm in Richmond and can drive up to get.
