Gotcha. What's your error codes? Is it going into Limp mode?

Have to had them check your Solenoids values?
Cam sensors, idle actuator?

Solenoids values NEW read At 1.0 anything less than .60 will throw it Limp and make it idle like ****. Not sure your mileage and year but Solenoids are known to fail. I've experienced same issue in my M. With idle problems

Have BMW do a Solenoid test and see where your values land. As you can I have two failed solenoids which makes the car idle like **** and rough

Yes, IIRC. I had to do this, myself and I remember having to delete the file off of the tablet. BUT.... better wait for JColley to tell you how to do it - because there is a procedure, IIRC. So, don't do anything hasty.

What I think is the issue is when you get the new FAMS tune(s). I think that your tablet has to be "clean" of FAMS tunes to get them on it. Best to verify.
