10,000+ miles with FAMS and still happy with my tune. I came from a Dinan tune.

I have a Dinan dealer close by, I was going to go with that simply for ease.

What differences can you tell me?

What differences can you tell me?
- Ease of reverting to stock or switching between tunes via tablet
- Significant number of modifications to calibration are different
- SMG modifications
- VANOS adjustment speed alterations
- octane specific timing calibrations
- pedal mapping
- cold start delete (primary cause of premature cat failure)
- ongoing support for your modifications
- continual development

Bmw is updating my dme

Does anyone know if i now will need to re read stock file and send back to jim? Or will the tuned file i have already be ok to load back?

I wonder if the dme software is like global settings and the aftermarket tune just adusts parameters inside these global setting in the dme??
