Had this service done by Scott on my 2003 leaky mirror. Was pretty quick considering the shipping to and from the Great White North (Canada, eh!). The mirror was 100% fixed and the casing appears as it did before I sent it (perfect). The red dome at the bottom, of which I don't know the purpose, needed to be glued down as it did before. I'm amazed that red thing was still was on the mirror and not lost in the abyss. No idea on how long it was loose, but it did fall off a few times in my brief two month ownership period. The dome is now permanently glued in place.

Thanks,
Jr!

Radar-Mirror deserves all the bumps they can get on this thread; easily the most bang-for-your-buck repair that it seems almost all of us will experience. Quick doesn't describe it; I was a jerk and ordered a mirror cell on the evening of December 23rd, and it got all the way to Canuck-istan before new years. Add to that, I had a question for Scott and he replied almost immediately, on new years day (again, not to be a jerk, I didn't expect a response until at least Monday, right?!)

Anyhow. . .brilliant improvement, super awesome vendor. Thanks Scott!

I had this service done by Scott yesterday. Since I am local and we live very close, he let me bring my mirror by and he repaired it on the spot. Great service, and great results.

Anyone else have issues with the mirror casing not being able to fully close/seal? I received mine back last month and the case doesn't completely seal.

I had an issue with mine; however, I only purchased the lens and did the replacement my self (don't go this route, it's not worth the effort). Many of the plastic locking tabs broke during the disassembly. As a result, the housing would not properly latch. I ended up glueing the housing with plastic (model) cement. I had radar mirror fix the one in my ZHP. I couldn't be happier with the results.

Correct, but I had RadarMirror fix mine. I didn't do it myself

95% of the mirrors close back together perfectly. If the fluid leaks and sits on the clips that hold the mirror together it melts the plastic and turns it to mush. Very corrosive stuff.

Just PM'd Scott. My rearview got roasted out in the sun during its 5-week subframe/driveshaft repair.
