Recommendation for short shifter for 2002 BMW M5

I am looking for a good one and would like to get peoples input.

UUC are the best in my opinion I have installed at least 10 on my BMW's over the years.

I have a spare Rogue Engineering one if you are interested. Never got around to installing it as I decided I preferred the stock throw. NIB if you want.

I have E60 kit ready to try on my E39 but haven't installed it yet either. I do like the way the shifter feels on my 550i, not quite such a long throw but still smooth.

Some M5's E39 & E60
E92 M3 6MT
Acura CL-S & TL 6MT
Some Land Rovers.

Had the e60 shifter in for about a week, love it, it seems to be a very noticable difference. It is a good cheap mod.

How much of a decrease in throw does the E60 modification make? Are all E60 shifter's the same?

Search "z3" short shifter on the board. Tons of good information.

I have the z3 1.9L short shifter in all of my m5s. It's the same short throw in my e28, e39, and e60. The first thing I did, when I got my e39 and e60, was swap out the stock shifters -- felt like I was rowing a boat (even the e60 shifter) to match the shifter in my e28 m5.

Best part of the z3's cheap and oem.
