Agera's Successor

Hello all,

It's been quiet on the forum lately and I thought a new thread on the Agera Successor would breathe new life to it. As of now the only specifications we know is it's to be unveiled in Geneva next year and what CvK told TopGear:

“We refining it, making it a little bit lighter, a little bit stronger… the thing with that engine is that there’s seemingly no end to what we can do with it. We polish it out, we open it up, and suddenly we have 20 or 30 more horsepower, and it’s even stronger and more reliable. It’s fascinating how capable the structure is.

“We’re going to raise the bar a little bit,” he continued. “[It’ll do] 8,800rpm, and it’ll be 20kg lighter – all billet [aluminium]. This [car] will be lighter, more track-focused than the Regera.”

If anyone has more details, do share

talking Koenigsegg CCXR Edition

The Agera is beautiful and probably one of my favourite Koenigseggs. Certainly nicer looking than the Regera in my opinion.

Not exactly the successor, more of a predecessor, but this article about the CCXR Edition on SupercarGuru is worth a look -, they've got their own gallery and it's pretty cool to see such a rare car up close. Thought you might be interested in it, seen as you're looking for more info on the Agera and historic Koenigsegg models!
