Love the 1/18ths, and I've wanted one for awhile but they come with a heafty price tag.

Yes they are quite expensive, but nothing close to the real deal .. You can get an 1:18 AUTOart CCX at e-bay for $125-140 with some luck.. Or catch one of the last silver colored left from AUTOArt ($205).

How much for the FrontiArt 1/18? My collecting has slowed considerably the last few years but I would make an exception here...

I have an AutoArt CCX (black of course) and it's a beauty!

I think a 1:18 FrontiArt Agera at e-bay are at least twice th price of a AUTOart CCX.. with some luck you can get one for under $300? Normal (new) price at least $400-430?

I had emailed them before, I believe they were in the $800 range for the more common ones, higher price for the rarer ones. I'll try and find the email

I have several AutoArt models and the quality is pretty spectacular for the price. The doors on the CCX come out and up in two motions rather than one but honestly that would be quite a bit of modeling! So not really any complaint there.

Seems like the prices of 1/18 have gone up considerably since I first started collecting. Anyway the market's pretty savvy these days. The old Bburago and Maisto models simply wouldn't cut it today, in my opinion. I have several and they are fine, but everything changed for me when I bought my first AutoArt! But you gotta pay to play...

I own a FrontiArt Agera R and two AUTOart CCXs in 1:18 scale. The FrontiArt is very nicely detailed, but the AUTOart models are much nicer because of the opening parts, and they're just as detailed. I am thinking of selling my Agera R and buying the AUTOart version with opening parts when it comes out.

See my blog on these models here.
