According to Marchettino who shot some video of #080, the engine (most likely turbos) has been upgraded and now generates 1400bhp (!!!)

From what I understand about turbos, bigger turbos might make more peak HP but won't they take longer to spool up? Throttle response would suffer. Isn't that the point of the turbos Koenigsegg has developed, to prevent that?

Very much so.. Not sure though, but I don't think the earlier Ageras had the variable turbo anyway, not until 2013 spec.

Video of #080, definatly seems like alot more peak horsepower, sounds like its running on alot more boost!
Driving without traction control aswell, 1400hp, 2wd and no tc is pretty much suicidal..

I drove down with a buddy from Stuttgart, Germany to TT circuit Assen, Netherlands (Approx 1300 KM) during Supercar Sunday this year just to shoot #080 and boy oh boy was the trip worth it! I shall upload a few more shots of her when I have more time on my hands cause shes absolutely gorgeous to look at!
