My motor? I have no issues with my motor, my M5 has only 20k miles.

This is my first post on m5board, but I can tell you a little about the F10. I would consider the most common performance mods to start off with are downpipes and intakes or
charcoal filter removal and upgraded drop ins. Whether you go JB4 or flash tune from someone like Active Autowerke or BPC, you have up until 640 - 700 wtq before
the clutches start slipping. SSP clutches if planning to go past 650 - 700. Also, if tuned to the 650 - 700 mark, don't go WOT under 2k or 2.5k RPMs or redline in 6th/7th gear
as the M5 rods are not capable of handling that much power for extra long pulls at 180 - 190mph @ 8k when pushing past 650 whp/wtq.

I have AMS catless downpipes https://www.amsperformance.com/cart/...ownpipes.html/ These are more on the expensive side for DPs,
but from the research I have done, they are known to have a very good fitment. You can get VRSF for like $600? I think?

I ordered a full intake system from Project Gamma. They are on instagram mostly and they have a lot of videos showing them off. These are like MSR intakes ($2800), but they charge
$750 shipped within the states. I have BMC drop in's as well because I haven't decided which route I'm going yet.

I have pre-decided to go with Active Autowerek's Flash Software from Extreme Powerhouse https://x-ph.com/active-autowerke-f1...bd-flash-tune/ due to their customer service and unlimited map request (within reason of course). I'll use this to flash to Stage 1 (even though I have catless) to get a feel for what kind of shape my M5 clutches are in. Should put me at about 620 whp (rough guess) and 580 - 600 wtq. My M has 31k miles so I assume my clutches are in decent shape and can handle that power for awhile. You mentioned having 20k miles so I would assume the same, and down the line I may try stage 2. Highly recommend upgrading to these rods https://carbahnautoworks.com/product/s63-engine-parts/ if planning to surpass 700 and drive the car hard, however, I have read plenty of forums of people running FBO, meth, the whole works pushing 800+ with no internal upgrading. Maybe they don't push it hard all the time?
