Does your DCT do this?

I am trying to get to the bottom of a fault with my DCT car but I have no idea if it's the car at fault or a characteristic.

When pulling away in second gear on a DCT F10 M5 does your car pull away smoothly or is there any sort of shudder through the drivetrain (kind of like what may happen in a proper manual when moving away in second.

The car is also a bit lumpy and jerky but I am not sure if it's related or not.

My car is under warranty and the dealer isn't sure either as they don't have another lying around to test.

Am I being an idiot? Why are you pulling away in 2nd or do you mean when crawling in 2nd?

I have checked, mine pulls away in 1st every time. I can select 2nd manually, but in Auto it pulls away in 1st, incline
or not.

I come to realize that the dct is meant for race application only not designed for your everyday comfort and low speed smoothness when driven as designed it’s probably the best DCT out other than the PDK
