European trackday drivers.

Hi Guys ive been speaking to quite a few inhere about trackdays, and not least how to improve driving skills , ive been in motorsports since i was 9 years old, so thats over 25 years , 15 of those years ive been working as a instructor for racedrivers, and for the ordinary trackday driver.

im traveling alot around europe to coach people , and because im a M enthusiast i give special offers to those WHO owns a M BMW.

so if your a person/group WHO does trackdays in your M , and feel like there is room for improvement then look no further .

ive made a FB Group where we can speak about trackdays , and upload our videos , so feel free to join if you like

a Little into :

Welcome to Driver Development I/S.

This Group is for all Driving enthusiast , this could be the seasoned race driver, but also the trackday driver that wants to improve their skills.

Driver Development I/S is based in Denmark , but work all over europe , you can hire an instructor anywhere you feel like you need an improvement , and YOUR improvements is what we are all about.

We can also supply you with a car for a trackday, if you dont have a track worthy car yourself. (sofar we only cover Scandinavia and germany with "rentals" )

How about a Lotus Elise RHD 180 bhp to 800 kilos very easy to drive and very fast. (this is our entry car for new drivers)

Or a Radical which is even faster but also takes some more skills to be really fast. (this car is available when you have done a Lotus event)

perhaps a BMW M5 would suit you , well guess what we have one of those aswell.

common for all events is you will learn everything you need, to be a safe and fast driver , and even better we will use the latest in video capture so you can get videos of your Progress to wiew at home, and show your friends .

Do you have a Company? and want to give your employees a great day out, experience the thrills of beeing on a track with a racedriver showing the limits of a car, then look no further , as a sponsor of our racing team we give you such a day free of charge. our racing team plans on driving the Danish supercup series in 2014 , and offcourse we supply your staff with tickets for the races . PM for more info.

Our Racing Team is also to be found here on FB : Edge performance racing .

Remember POWER IS NOTHING WITHOUT CONTROL !

What people often do when i get hired is to get 2-3 or more drivers to split the bill , ill be able to Work with upto 5 persons a day (ive had much more people per day) but its hard to really get the desired resault i want you Guys to have of the day on track if its a Group of 15-20.

Lets make an example with a trackday at brands hatch for an example .

my plane ticket to England and back would be around 120 Pounds ( what i usually do is rent a car from airport to trackside , but thats even more expensive than the plane usually , so if one of the Guys im gonna instruct can/will pick me up at the airport thats one less expense for you to cover)

my normal daily fee on a trackday hired by organiser is no less than 350 Pounds (slightly more expensive than what individuals pay, because i have to sit with alot more drivers over a days Work and its not only more stressfull but also more dangerous).

I Work alot with RMA trackdays and lotus on track in uk, and my standard fee i get is 350 Pounds for a day with them + travel/accomidation expenses if its a 2 day event which mainly is when they go to Spa or nordschleiffe.

so lets say you are 3 Guys going for a outing together, the cost per person for having a professional instructor with 18 year of instructor experience is gonna be slightly cheaper than if its a organiser for this my fee is 300 Pounds (split by the amount of persons) If there is more than 5 drivers i take 40 Pounds per extra person.

so for 3 persons.

120 Plane ticket
300 Instructor fee
420 total.

Price per person 140 Pounds all included.

I guarantee youll see improvements , also we can Work on your setup , if you have a adjustable suspension or some semi slicks we need to find the optimal pressure in before you destroy the tires in a few stints , which i see quite often with unaided track "rookies" .

i was in Sweden a few weeks back with a Group of 4 persons , in average they improved their laptimes by 3.7 sec (in a track thats 2 miles) and all had been at that track before twice, and suddently they all did 3 stints of 20 mins more than they previousely have made on a 8 hour trackday , simply because they didnt ruin their tires in notime , even though they drove alot faster than they used to , so not only faster but also less Wear and tear on car and tires , even more important much safer even going faster ...

That sounds absolutely fantastic and I think if I can get a few people to join the group with me I would love to take you up on that. I'm not the fastest driver, I drive purely for fun, so any tuition would be welcomed!
Thanks for your information

Your welcome JimF, remember driving should always be FUN, if not there is no reason to do it

by the way Amzey1 is also in uk maybe you and him could get together for a deal as he is also interested, and i have clients reguarly in uk, so it shouldnt be a problem finding another one for a "threesome" lol, however if its gonna be a all M5 group i might even throw in a little more discounted price for my work for this awesome comunity.

Trackday alert !!!

Im gonna be working at the epic track Spa Francorchamps the 11 and 12th may at RMA trackdays.
ill be able to sell a few spots for this event at a discounted Price, its not a huge discount as these days allways sell out fast , but if you do trackdays these events would be top of the line and at one of the best tracks in europe.

so let me know if you feel like having a awesome trip to SPA !
