PDC Failure

Hi guys,

After recently solving an issue with my M6 I now have another. The PDC failure fault is showing up and no sensors are working at all. Anyone had this before, if so what was the solution?

A single sensor failure disables the whole system. Need to check what error you have, will tell you which sensor needs replacement.

Easy . Just get the car plugged it, and the BMW (i personally like and use ISTA/D) diagnostics will tell you exactly which specific sensor is on the fritz (of if you have real rotten luck, the PDC module itself: possible but unlikely). Any one single bad sensor front or rear, will disable the entire PDC system until the fault is rectified. But once the faulty sensor is replaced, the system comes back online without any fuss. No need to perform any reset via the diagnostic software too (unless you want to clear off all the historical fault codes).
