After my Ferrari 360 I purchased a brand new 2015 BMW M4.
I loved my M4 but two things on that car I was not happy with. The hood looks like a Mustang, and the exhaust sounds like fart no matter what after market exhaust you put in to it.

I am now in the process of purchasing a 2008 Ferrari F430.
Wish me luck!

All the best,

Dan
Dear Dan

Very nice to hear from you again.

Good luck with the F430. They are awesome machines. May I suggest you test drive a manual before you make your final decision.

Good Luck
Hasan

Hi Hasan!

Great to hear from you!

As much as I like a manual transmission / stick shift - I can no longer do manual shifting.
I now have both bad knees, I have Osteoarthritis, both of my knees are worn out and I will need knee replacement soon.
I have one knee replacement scheduled for this year, and the other knee to be replaced next year

Not only that, here in the US, the manual transmission has a premium added to the price. They cost about $80K more than F1 transmission so I will go with F1 transmission.

Thanks for the recommendation though.

Take care always.

Dan

Dan,
Glad to see you perusing the boards! Too bad about the knees! It's hell to get old...I should know!!! I thought about selling my M6 for something newer but just can't bring myself to parting with her! I'm sure you still think about your baby(M6) from time to time. She was certainly well maintained and unique.

I hope you finally find your "Nirvana," with the 430!

Best Regards,
Rangerb3
