Help with codes 510B and 520B please!

Figured I'd ask in the M6 section since my car is a 2007 M6 with about 40k miles. I replaced my entire hydraulic unit with one of Troy's less than 1000km ago and I got a transmission error again, but only in yelllow. The codes are 510B and 520B. When I swapped the Hydraulic unit for a new one my mechanic said my clutch and flywheel are in great shape. I am inclined to think this is a sensor problem. I don't want to get stranded again so I'm afraid to drive my car. Can someone please tell me which sensor I need for this? Maybe a picture? I search the forums for similar codes but to no avail

510B - Gearbox input speed
520B - Transverse acceleration

P.s. my car drives awesome with the new hydraulic unit but I hate error codes - as does everyone who owns one of these rare beauties.

510B

Got the dreaded Trans Malfunction Amber today while at a stop. Drove for a while longer and came to another stop, dinged again, car was running fine through all gears, continued to another stop and all went away.
Excellent 3rd party Mech tagged a 510B code... doing some research

It's a transmission sensor that needs to be reset. Nothing is wrong with your car. Keep driving.

Hi guys , anyone get this sorted ? Had a brand new SMG clutch installed, m6 e64, all good for a month, and now I’m getting jerking in trans here and there and 510B code that keeps coming and going, (SMG sensor, gearbox input speed) says the computer reader

Check the sensor connector, push it in and make sure it snug, location at 3 o'clock position forward of mid section of transmission.

Either the transmission speed sensor isn’t working or is unplugged

for me it wasn’t working (the shop scanned the car and the sensor wasn’t responding)

once the transmission speed sensor was replaced, all was good to go
