Cool Hidden Features of the M6

We did this on the X5 Boards when I was there and there were a few features brought to light that I was not aware of. If everyone can post a few features that seem somewhat obscure I'm sure there is someone out there that will welcome the new information. I'll start with these two; (sorry if some of you already know of these examples)

Under the passenger side dash in the footwell there is another cigarette lighter plug-in for an additional accessory. I use that one for my phone charger when I'm using my radar detector with the ashtray plug-in.

If you hold down the "unlock" button on the remote the windows will go down.

I didn't see this happen the one time it may have but maybe someone can verify this one; with the windows down, if the windshield senses rain the windows automatically go up? I went outside to close my windows when it started to rain and they were already up so I'm assuming this does happen?

After coding windows and mirror I did hold button for longer than that. Windows roll up & down as coded but not mirrors. It did not work for the person who wrote coding manual as well. Perhaps it's EU vs US version difference.

An awesome thread indeed.

Some other features. Although these I acquired via coding the car.

- Fold mirrors in with holding the lock button, automatically unfolds with unlock.
- Activate headlights when pressing the trunk button, hold in button to open trunk.
- Coded the HUD to display indicators.
