Where to find LCI CIC center console trim?

I need part number 51167903537 via real OEM, wooden console trim cut for CIC in madeira wood.

No one seems to have one at any price in the US. Nor does ebay, and the three dealers around me all say they can't order it.

I found two possible bmw parts stores in Germany but they won't ship to the US, trying to get them to reconsider.

Any one know of where I might be able to track one down? Or if anyone has one for sale/sitting around?

you may have to butcher up the one you have, or go for a color change, or be extra patient and wait to see if one pops up on eBay. I changed from brushed aluminum to Piano Black and I love it.

Tried looking at scrap yards? I know it won't be new...but your car is 13 yrs old.

What do insurance companies do when these kind of parts are damaged in accidents?

Yeah i most certainly did butcher what I had..... such as why I'm looking. Turns out dremeling is a little harder than I would have thought to make a clean cut.

I wouldn't mind a color change but I can't find a set for cic that in a color that I can also find in a pre-lci door wood trim. I don't really want to buy new door interiors.

I've been looking for anyone parting out, or car recyclers. Nothing found of yet.

yeah, didn't think about that. having a pre-lci car certainly makes it more difficult

Would you mind sharing the 2 bmw parts store? I was also looking for the CIC trim piece. Looked at ebay with no luck.

I cut mine out, take your time and it will look stock. I made a template first, then using the factory mount to locate controller before I started cutting.

I already responded to someone else that I cut mine out. It doesn't look good..... be glad i'm not a surgeon. If I could avoid having to buy hundreds in trim I would have.

Glad yours turned out well.

www.online-teile.com said they had it on their store but they wrote me back after I enquired about exporting to the US and they said it was a mistake and they'll take the part # off of their webstore.

https://www.hubauer-shop.de/en/ is the other place, their export manager is out till this monday. I'm afraid I'll hear the same thing but won't know till then.
