So I got quoted this from bmw and had my tech come and replace the coils and sparks. I’ve replaced all the coils and spark plugs but the car is still in limp mode.
Now we are hearing a funny bubble popping noise every 10-25 second span.
Do I just need to clear the code? Is something cutting short due to not clearing the code? Is it the rod bearings?!? Do I need a new engine lol? Million things are running through my head.
Has anybody had similar issues in the past? If so, do you mind sharing your fix/experience?

Below is the engine code I’m getting at the time it went in the limp mode:
LABOR TYPE LABOR HRS LABOR $ PARTS $ TOTAL
ADDITIONAL SERVICE REPAIR CC 6.00 $ 1055.88 $ 1709.00 $ 2764.88
FAULT CODES 2B36 2B37 2B3C 2B41 2B43 2B44 2B45 2B46 2B49 2B4E STORED IN DME
* MISFIRE FAULTS STORED IN DME, IGNITION COILS MELT INTO THE CYLINDER BORE AND HAVE TO CUT OUT TO REPLACE THE SPARK PLUGS, REPLACE ALL PLUGS AND COILS

First thing you need to do is clear the faults and see what comes back.
