Battery discharge errors are annoying and can be hard finding the culprit.

Happened to me twice.

First time was the bluetooth module. I disconnected it and never bought a new one.

Second time was the aircond controller. I replaced it with one from a breaker m5.

Don't the commands go over the can bus?

It should be able to turn off anything connected to the bus OR does it do it by a different mechanism?

Literature suggests it kills the bus, so not exactly one at a time.

Hey flaco, have you tried to store your key fob far away from the car? I posted my finding about a week ago. I basically had the same issue pop up daily, but now it doesn't happen anymore. It is weird that yours is seasonal though. But try storing the key fob at the opposite end of the house to see if that would solve it.

2006 E60 M5 with supersprint headers, mid pipe, and muffler without cat. Evolve R stage 3 tune.

Temps have warmed up here in CT, car went a whole month before it reset my clock. I expect as it warms up further it will not do it at all. Maybe their algorithm that takes into account temps is a little too much on the safe side.

Just to answer this, my key is not near the car when parked. So no, in my case it was def temp related (and somewhat old battery - to be confirmed next season).
