That is not bad. When I did mine last year I told myself I'd avoid the hassle and have a shop do it if I could get it done for 1k labor. Got a quote from a shop in the Chicago suburbs for twice that amount so ended up doing it myself.

During the rod bearing swap with the subframe out, does anyone know how much time for a competent technician to take out both the exhaust manifolds and replace them? I was quoted by RRT 8 hours at $145.00 - no discount on labor since it is a customer supplied part. I will be replacing the manifolds with RMS's manifolds with V-bands which has similar dimensions as factory ones.
