rod bearing, vanos replaced and yet...... still not working

Just replaced the worn rod bearings, which is believed to be the root cause of some tiny metal debris running inside the system which caused engine lights on.
got the engine bottom cover cleaned and replaced with new engine oil.

yet, the follow fault messages are still lingering on, what else could have gone wrong? I seldom hear that oil pump and vanos oil pump need to be replaced due to low oil pressure.

besides, all 4 vanos steroids had been replaced 3 months ago including one of the throttle actuator motor replaced.

please help

nope, how does it matter?

the workshop is suggesting to replace the oil pump and vanos oil pump, but that's very expensive, and still no guarantee to fix the problem

I reckon it's high pressure vanos line it's very prone to corrode

The high pressure vanos line from the factory are prone to leak out. Your going have to open up the belly pan up again to change that hose. Google it - plenty of data on it to support your issue.
I would suggest to update the pump chain guide, sprocket, chain and vanos pump gear if itís a pre 2007 model
