Can anybody tell if thereís a down side to these? I installed mine yesterday and love the throttle response.

Iíve been told that red or race mode can effect the clutch also. Gas mileage is a mute point with these cars, I laugh every time I fill the tank and it say 260 miles range

Very happy with mine.
1) Valet mode is nice
2) Revs more like having a LTW flywheel. Itís not instantaneous, but less laggy.

The thing that always stuck with me, is that I remember reading an article regarding throttle response in race cars, and the throttle response is deliberately slowed. The theory on this, is that you actually have MORE control of the throttle with a flatter response angle, which makes sense to me.
What is conflicting however, is that M mode actually defies this, as it alters the throttle response to a steeper angle, which does feel nicer.
I'm torn between wanting to have a flatter slope to train myself the way it's probably supposed to be, while pretending to be Michael Schumacher, instead of getting the SprintBooster, which seems fun.

Races cars are on/off they step the throttle so it doesnít spin donuts. but on the street that lag is annoying and with the booster on stage 1 that lag is gone stage 2 is m mode, then turn m mode on and holy crap batman
