Finally have time to do rb and vanos. Hereís what my vanos looks like probably did need to change race but did anyway. My pump is in great shape so removing the race was a snap. Canít wait to see how she runs with a good high pressure line.

Hi guys....been a while since I've checked in. The car was running well till the SMG electric motor coupler trashed itself. That is being replaced this weekend. We'll continue to keep a close eye on the oil for metal for obvious reasons. So far everything is clear....+25,000 miles since rod bearings and vanos rebuilds...and a bunch of other refresh items.



If I can get 3 orders....I'll have more races machined. ID machining is very difficult for this part.

same grade as race bearings....it's hardened steel. It's very much like cutting tool steel.
