E60 M5 vs R35 GTR

Had a little run in with an R35 GTR today in mexico. Pulled up next to him and gave him a few downshifts, he smiled and did the same thing and we took off. Ran from about 80-140mph, was very surprised to see my car kept up! I have my primary cats and muffler deleted with an RKtune from new york, but thats about it. We ran a few times, and almost every time we were neck and neck. It was very fun and the owner of the GTR gave me a thumbs up and lots of grins as I passed him to go our separate ways, seemed like a really cool guy. Made me realize how capable our cars really are, and I haven't stopped grinning since I got home lol. Random story but thought I would share. Any good races you guys have had recently? Post em up!

Maybe it was luck or maybe RKtunes in new york does that good of a job! But it appeared like he was giving it everything he had so I was very happy with the results. I think at lower speeds he would've definitely beat me, but up top our cars pull very hard.

Wow, was just driving around and ran into the same GTR! He pulled into the gas station when he realized i was behind him and we had a little chat. Guy was really nice, turns out it was a stock 2016 GTR besides some cosmetic mods. He knew all about the e60 m5 which was pretty cool. Very genuine guy, cool to meet other people who appreciate cars like we do.

That awesome. Was about to say the ONLY way our cars either can keep up or beat one is if they are 100% stock otherwise it's no contest.

There ton of videos of M5 beating STOCK GTR on a roll. Off a dig we stand no chance, but a roll it's doable depending on how healthy your car is. They are just as heavy as our car believe it our not.

To bad you didn't have a go pro hooked up. Gotta mount one and keep in car at all times

My FBO M5 vs R8. He had tune, I pulled him up top and he got a slight jump on the count.

Yeah I have a go pro but never have it with me! need to leave it in my car. I should've taken a pic of my car with his at the gas station but didn't think of it until I haD already left. I really want to race some other cars now and see what she can do!
