08+ bearings...

I know this subject has been done to death... then done again and again... but I was wondering if anyone with the 702/703 bearings in their engines (revision 3) has either A) had a failure B) changed the bearing and had heavy wear?

Cheers

From what I have read and heard, the bearing updates ares still just as bad as the previous. It is the crank that is the problem if using non BE bearings.

There is a post or two about differences in the 2nd and 3rd generation S85 engines include the oil squirters etc that apparently improve the odds against rod bearing wear. I can't remember which thread it is, but I saw this within the last 2 - 3 days (so since Friday Aug 18, 2017)
