Drreaded 3 lights error tried 2 dsc pulse sensor

Hi my m5 has the 3 lights on dashboard abs brake and traction I put it on my diagnostic got the fault for front left speed sensor bought a sensor ate branded it didn't work so bought another one direct from bmw this didn't work either way cleared the faults just come straight back on with same faults
Now I have reason to believe after searching the forum it's my wheel bearing how can I be 100% before purchasing a bearing
Also anything else it could be.
Regards

You need to look in with a borescope / endoscope and turn the wheel slowly to see if there is any issue with the teeth. Maybe it just needs a good cleaning to define the teeth better.

Could be crud buildup on the bearing pulse ring but it could also be trouble with the DSC or TPMS modules. Apparently faulty TPMS modules often report as LF speed sensor fault.
Do you have INPA or ISTA/D? If so you can do some real time reads of speed sensors to see which module is faulty. Also you can read sensor outputs at the DSC module connector plug by spinning the wheels. This will test sensors and wheel bearings.
Everything you could possibly want to know is in this thread and summarized in post #48:
